Eco-Conscious Art

I'm proud to say all the items I use here at Total Eclipse of the Art are either locally produced, made from recycled materials, decomposable (where possible), and can be reused again ...

STATIONERY:
I source all of my materials as locally as possible and from as many independent businesses as I can. My stationery is printed from Images InterAlia and Impression Printing locally here in Perth, I get my envelopes from The Office, also based here in Perth, my packing materials are sourced from Crystal Clear-Bags Canada, and my eco-friendly tape is from Friendly Mailer.

CUSTOM MOON PAINTINGS:
Every hand painted moon is painted on watercolour paper. It is carefully placed in an eco-clear protective bag (that is a completely compostable alternative to cellophane), and supported with an individual piece of recycled cardboard to keep it flat during travel.

It is placed in an easy-tear rigid mailer made from 70% recycled material, and sealed with biodegradable tape to make sure it's extra safe on its journey.

STICKERS:
Every sticker is placed in an envelope on piece of branded stationery to keep it safe and flat during transit. I opt to source and print my stickers here in Ontario, Canada, to reduce the carbon footprint and mileage of my artwork as I strive to be as environmentally conscious as I can.

Having said that, enjoy your sticker made from vinyl that is sure to survive a nuclear meltdown. Welp.

ORNAMENTS:
While the ornaments I produce are infact made with durable acrylic, they are produced locally in Ontario and therefore the carbon footprint for them is low. I wrap and package each ornament in products that can be either reused or recycled. So while the ornaments themselves are pretty indestructible, I've tried to keep everything else associated with them as low maintenance as possible.
